Industrial Spaces and Versatile Office Appeal

Forsyth Commerce Center is a 119-acre master-planned mixed-use development on Highway 9 in Forsyth County, Georgia. The uses include office-industrial buildings, an age-restricted residential community, and a retail building on the highway frontage. McDonald Development Company is developing 95 acres of this property for five dock-high, rear-load buildings which, upon completion, will total approximately 880,000 SF.

Two of the five buildings have been completed. Building 100 is 32’ clear and has 207,276 SF. Building 200 is 32’ clear and has 151,926 SF. The design of these buildings anticipates a tenant mix having a high percentage of office use and desiring an appealing front door experience. High and low canopy projections accentuate the various storefront and window openings framing the primary office entrances. Office fit-up can be accommodated in any bay of these buildings.

Dock-side functionality for tenants is a high priority in the design of these buildings. Overhead door positions include standard 9’x10’ openings, 10’x12’ openings, 14’x16’ drive-in doors, and grade-level knockout panels on the ends of each building.
