In a pursuit to elevate the allure of multifamily living, Smallwood joined forces with Passco Companies to spearhead a captivating transformation of the amenity spaces at the distinguished Avana Lenox property in Buckhead.
The collaborative design endeavor revitalized amenity spaces, property, and resident entry points, maximizing value for the client’s investment. Contemporary landscaping and compelling graphics created an indelible first impression. The pool area underwent a modern transformation with new landscaping, updated outdoor bar and grill areas, and enhanced paving in the firepit zone.
An underutilized tennis court was reimagined into a new amenity space featuring a dog park, shaded outdoor lounges, and a firepit. Budget-friendly elements were implemented while maintaining a vibrant and dynamic space tailored to residents’ desires.
The public domains of Avana Lenox also received a brand-new experiential graphic makeover, including ‘the roof’—an elevated amenity oasis atop the parking structure. A branded paint scheme with dynamic angles and vivid hues served as a wayfinding solution, culminating in large-format dimensional text proclaiming ‘the roof.’
The design was a collaborative effort between experiential graphic designers, landscape architects, and the client’s interior design consultant, ensuring a cohesive and harmonious design narrative.
