Smallwood is designing a new retail and dining corridor along Piedmont Road for CP Group’s redevelopment of Piedmont Center in Buckhead. The plan brings the campus out to the street with six standalone retail buildings totaling more than 25,000 square feet, complemented by over 10,000 square feet of patios and outdoor space. Building A, the largest of the new structures, anchors the corridor, and the centrally located Building D features a distinctive green roof. Upgraded pedestrian connections create a walkable setting for at least six restaurants and a collection of upscale shops. Together, these buildings give Buckhead a new place to eat, shop, and gather, and they turn a traditional office campus into a destination for the whole community.
