Vireo

Vireo is a 26-story multifamily residential project located in Midtown Atlanta, adjacent to Piedmont Park. It features 310 rental units in studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom layouts. The tower begins with a lobby at street level, followed by six levels of parking, and eighteen levels of residential floors. The top floor houses the club and pool amenities, offering spectacular views of the park and city skyline.

The design draws inspiration from the residential scale of 13th Street and the southern-style neighborhoods surrounding the park. The building incorporates a modern reinterpretation of the traditional “front porch,” cascading along the sloped street with an extended roof reaching the public sidewalk. The lobby, reception, and lounge areas extend this sense of hospitality and warmth into the interior.

Residential units feature oversized balconies for outdoor living, while amenities are designed for comfort and community. The 8th floor offers an intimate courtyard, while the 26th floor features a rooftop pool deck, fitness center, and lounge with dramatic skyline views. Outdoor terraces include fire pits and barbecue stations, creating spaces for both private and communal gatherings.

The streetscape experience is enhanced with a “front porch” atmosphere, colorful plantings, dog walks, and bike racks, fostering a sense of community and urban lifestyle. Experiential graphic design elements, including signage and wayfinding, balance intricate patterns with reclaimed materials, reinforcing the theme of modern Southern hospitality.
